The MEHRIT Centre

The MEHRIT Centre was my first real freelance opportunity, four months out of my post-graduate program. The real challenge and opportunity as a junior marketer was coaching and educating a not-for-profit in its own infancy stage about the value that social media marketing could have for an organization focused on fast growth.
Over the course of five years, I developed numerous successful content series and community-building initiatives including Shanker Saturday, Self-Reg Sunday and a monthly Twitter Chat (#TMCTalks). I also supported sales objectives with always-on content promoting learning offerings, Self-Reg resources, online communities and large-scale events, including the annual Self-Reg Summer Symposium.
